Frequently Asked · Nano Brows Bristol
Your brows, answered.
What exactly are Nano Brows?
Nano Brows are a semi-permanent treatment that uses a digital machine fitted with a single ultra-fine needle to place pigment in delicate, hair-like strokes. The result is a natural, defined brow that blends with your own hair, and because the technique is so precise, it suits all skin types.
How long do Nano Brows last?
Most clients enjoy their Nano Brows for one to two years. Longevity depends on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare, and oily skin tends to fade a little faster. A yearly top-up keeps the colour and shape looking fresh.
Do Nano Brows hurt?
Comfort is a priority. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the treatment, and most clients describe the sensation as mild scratching. Because Nano Brows use a gentle machine technique rather than a hand blade, there is less trauma to the skin, which is one of the reasons the healing is usually quicker.
What is the difference between Nano Brows and microblading?
Both create fine, hair-like strokes, but Nano Brows are made with a digital machine while microblading uses a manual blade. The machine method causes less trauma to the skin and holds better on oily and sensitive skin, which is why many clients with those skin types choose it. On dry to normal skin, microblading gives the softest, most natural looking result of any brow technique, and I offer both. Which one suits you is decided at your free consultation, not before.
Are Nano Brows suitable for oily skin?
Yes. Oily skin breaks down hand bladed strokes quickly, but Nano Brows place pigment more precisely and disturb the skin less, so the strokes stay crisp for longer. For oily skin, Nano Brows are usually the better long-term choice.
How much do Nano Brows cost at Ska Brows?
Nano Brows and Ombré Brows at Ska Brows start from £250, with a free consultation included. A six-week touch-up session is £100. Your consultation lets us map the right shape, colour and technique for your features before any work begins.
What does the healing process involve?
Your brows look bolder and darker for the first few days, then soften over roughly one to two weeks as they heal. Full results settle after your six-week touch-up session. You will receive simple aftercare instructions to protect the result.
