Nano brows in north Bristol, before and after, Ska Brows Filton

My studio is on Gloucester Road North in Bristol, right where Horfield meets Filton. That puts me within a short drive of most of north Bristol, and on a bus route from the city centre. Here is who I see most often, and how long it usually takes them to reach me.

Areas I serve in north Bristol

Horfield and Bishopston

Effectively on the doorstep. Most clients from Gloucester Road, Ashley Down and Bishopston walk or drive in under ten minutes.

Filton and Patchway

Five to ten minutes up the A38. Convenient if you work at Filton, Aztec West or Cribbs Causeway, and easy to fit around a shift.

Bradley Stoke and Stoke Gifford

Around fifteen minutes via the A38 or Gipsy Patch Lane. Filton Abbey Wood station is close by if you would rather take the train.

Southmead and Henleaze

Ten minutes across. A lot of my regulars come from this side, often fitting an appointment around the school run.

Westbury-on-Trym and Redland

Ten to fifteen minutes. Straightforward parking near the studio, which is not always the case closer to Clifton.

Downend and Fishponds

Fifteen to twenty minutes via the Ring Road or Muller Road, depending on traffic.

Clifton and the city centre

Ten to fifteen minutes, or a direct bus up Gloucester Road. Many Clifton clients prefer coming here for the easier parking.

Further afield

Clients do travel from Bath, Gloucester and further into South Gloucestershire for specialist brow work. If you are coming a distance, message me first and we will plan the timing properly.

Getting to the studio

Ska Brows is at 13 Gloucester Rd N, Bristol BS7 0SG. It sits on the main Gloucester Road corridor, so it is simple to reach from the M32 at Junction 2 and from the A38 running north to Filton and Patchway. Filton Abbey Wood is the nearest station, and frequent buses run along Gloucester Road from the centre.

Worth knowing

Permanent makeup is not a single appointment. You come back for a complimentary touch up six to eight weeks later, and most people return once a year after that. Choosing somewhere you can actually get to easily matters more than people expect when they are booking the first session.

Healed nano brows result, north Bristol client, Ska Brows

What to look for in a brow artist

Wherever you end up going, the artist matters more than the location. Look for healed results rather than photos taken straight after the appointment, because fresh work always looks sharp and tells you very little. Ask which technique they would recommend for your skin type and why. Ask what happens if you are not happy with the shape.

I have been doing this for more than seven years, and every treatment starts with a free consultation where I map the shape and talk through whether Nano Brows, Ombre Brows or microblading will actually heal best on your skin. If I think a technique is wrong for you, I will say so.

Common questions

Do you cover the whole of Bristol? Clients come from across the city, but the studio is firmly north Bristol. If you are south of the river, expect twenty to thirty minutes depending on traffic.

Is there parking? Yes, there is on street parking near the studio. Message me before your first visit and I will tell you exactly where to aim for.

How long is an appointment? Two and a half to three hours for the first session, including consultation and brow mapping. The touch up is shorter.

What does it cost? Nano Brows, Ombre Brows and microblading are £350 including the free consultation and the six week touch up. See full pricing
